Mandatory Staffing Guide
{This is mandatory for all new-staff members to read}

(If you are a trial-Admin you may not have some of the listed permissions or commands, but don't worry, some of this still does apply to you and will help you set up and learn from the beginning. So let's begin.)

Basic Overview

Firstly let's bind the ULX menu to something that we can access and use regularly, because no one wants to type !menu every time! Speaking of !menu, if your binding decides it doesn't want to work, type !menu in the chat and there we have it. However to bind the ULX menu to a key, which is highly recommended:

Go to your console by pressing ` on your keyboard and type: Bind <key> "ulx menu" .
Replace <key> with anyway key you wish, for example a common key to bind is F9 as it is next to the default F8 for the damagelogs. Let's roll with this for this example, so bind F9 "ulx menu".

Great now we have bound the menu to a key. To open just press the key and you will get your first glimpse of the ULX menu. It will look something like this, just with a little less commands.

A Few Essential Commands

ulx asay [message] - sends a message to currently connected admins. (say: @)

ulx gag <player(s)> - Gag target(s), disables microphone and makes the target unable to talk.
ulx ungag <player(s)> - Ungags the target(s)

ulx mute <player(s)> - mutes target(s) so they are unable to use the Traitor or team chat.
ulx unmute <player(s)> - Un-mute's the target(s)

ulx psay <player> {message} - send a private message to target. (say: !p)
ulx thetime - shows the current time. Note that this isn't real time, this is server time.
ulx motd - shows the message of the day of the server, or in this case the rules.

Under the TTT Admin Menu (TTT ONLY!):
ulx fspec <player> - Forces the target player to become a spectator.
ulx unspec <player> - Forces target player to disable spectating mode.

ulx slaynr <player> {# of rounds} - Slay's the target for the next round(s).
ulx rslaynr <player> {# of rounds} - Removes the targets slay(s).

Under the Teleport Menu:
ulx bring <player> - Forces a player to be brought to you instantly.
ulx goto <player> - Forces yourself to go to another player instantly.

Under the Utility Menu:
ulx kick <player> [{reason}] - kicks target for a specific reason given.

Under the Voting Menu:
ulx votemap2 <map> - starts a map vote
ulx voteban <player> [{reason}]
ulx votekick <player> [{reason}]

And more.

Command Usage

Now we have all these commands and their usages, how on earth do we actually use them? Well there are a few ways depending on the command and it's complexity. The way you choose it personal and doesn't actually effect the command or effect.

Use the physical menu to use your commands. The actual menu provides a GUI interface, and is what appears when you press the key we bound earlier. This is the easiest way for those new to the ULX system. By going to each section you can see the command, click on a player and add the effect to that player.

Damage Logs & RDM Manager

The RDM Manager is a powerful tool that include shots logs, reports, and full management of all game related incidents. Welcome to the greatest tool ever. Let's go over the basics!

To start with we can access the damage logs and all other log related items via the default F8 key. This may change from server to server, so make sure to ask around for the answer in your case. This can only be re-mapped through the owner of the server.

So let's press F8 and see what we get!

This is the default splash screen, and shows all damage logs for the current round and previous rounds on the same maps. We can change the round number by clicking "Current Round".

Now let's go through a bit of configuration here. Let's change the filters so all are enabled, you can personally choose which ones you want, but in this case we will select all for the most information. The only one we will leave empty is 'Filter By player'.

On this page we can also do a few more things. We can find steam ID's easily, and we can see quickly and easily what players have what roles. Like so.

Now let's head over to the RDM Manger tab. This is the most important part of the management system for TTT. Not only will it shows any reports that have been made against players, but it can shows us the logs prior to death, Steam ID's, and allows us to take action then and there. Let's go through this simple report example.

A report has come in and a player has shot a barrel which was near another innocent player. This is RDM and most likely will result in a slay. However let's do a few things first.

1.Set the report in progress so other staff know it is being dealt with.

2.Read the report and and response from the victim and offender. If the offender has not responded after a reasonable typing time (reports will appear on players screen at the end of a round), press force respond to make a screen appear on the players screen until they type a response.

Once both parties have responded, or the offender refuses to respond, you can easily slay the offender or victim with two clicks.

If the player needs a ban for a specific reason you may get his Steam ID for the ban from the RDM Manager as well.

Thats it, you're done and you now know all the basics of staffing

Welcome to our bug reporting thread

In order to achieve maximum efficiency and keep the server running smooth and sound we need to eliminate all possible bugs, and we can't do that without our player base's help.

To report a possible bug or glitch, please make sure to provide proof of the bug if possible and or give us a way to recreate the bug in order to fix it.
A picture or video is an example of proof. If you are not able to give proof please make sure to speak with the server developer (Santakatz) and help him understand the issue.

If you do have proof please make sure to post the picture or video using the in-forum hyperlink option.
